HVAC estimates often need more than line items. A contractor may want to keep job photos with the estimate so equipment condition, installation details, or site notes are easier to review later.

TeamServ is simple field-service estimating software for small HVAC and plumbing shops. It helps contractors organize customers, estimates, estimate line items, templates, jobs, reminders, and workspace records.

Photo attachment limits in TeamServ

TeamServ plan limits define how many photos can be attached to one estimate.

On the Free plan, TeamServ allows 2 photos attached to one estimate. The Free plan also includes 5 new estimates per calendar month, 50 saved customers, and 30 days of estimate history visible server-side.

On the Pro plan, TeamServ allows 50 photos attached to one estimate.

These limits help set expectations before a contractor decides how many job photos to keep with an estimate.

Why photos matter for HVAC estimates

HVAC work can involve equipment condition, access issues, outdoor units, indoor units, ductwork, electrical notes, and site details. Photos can help the contractor remember what was reviewed when preparing an estimate.

TeamServ does not decide the estimate for the contractor. The contractor still enters the customer details, line items, job notes, and estimate details they want to use.

Keeping estimate records organized

TeamServ data records include companies, customers, estimates, estimate line items, templates, jobs, reminders, and workspace memberships. These records help keep estimate information connected to the customer and workspace.

For a small HVAC shop, this can make it easier to keep job photos, customer records, estimate details, and follow-up work in one workflow instead of spreading them across messages, notes, and separate folders.

Estimate status tracking

TeamServ estimate statuses are draft, sent, approved, and rejected.

A draft estimate can be prepared before it is ready for the customer. A sent estimate has been shared. An approved estimate can move forward in the workflow. A rejected estimate can be tracked separately instead of being mixed with active work.

Plan and billing note

Free is $0 with no card and no Stripe. Starter is $29/mo. Pro is $79/mo with a 14-day Pro trial through Stripe Checkout. Paid checkout depends on Stripe billing being configured.

What to check before using estimate photos

Before relying on photos in an HVAC estimate workflow, a contractor should check:

. How many photos can be attached to one estimate

. Whether the current plan fits the job photo workflow

. How customer and estimate records are organized

. Whether estimate status tracking supports the shop’s follow-up process

. Whether the contractor needs more photo capacity for larger jobs

TeamServ is useful for HVAC shops that want estimate records, customer details, line items, job notes, reminders, statuses, and photo context connected in one workflow.
